The following keepcase inserts were scanned, altered, created and/or laid out for the sole use of those people who prefer keepcases over flimsy cardboard DVD packaging or for those DVD cover inserts that are in some way unsatisfactory for the owners of those DVDs. They contain some graphics that are the property of and copyrighted by their respective creators and companies. They are not to be resold or used for profit and are intended only for people who legally buy the DVDs that they correspond to.

Metropolis

Instead of the cardboard digipack that Metropolis came in, you can use the keepcase cover insert below to hold the discs in a two disc keepcase (like those found at c4component.com, double Amarays, or even double Alphas.

The following is the keepcase cover insert for the Metropolis DVDs in JPEG format:

I recommend printing the images out in landscape mode on legal sized paper if possible and centering the image on the page. One method is to import the JPG files into a MS Word document and set horizontal (in paragraph formatting) and vertical centering (in page setup), then print. Then cut the page along the edges of the image with an X-acto knife or razor blade and insert it into the Amaray keepcase.

Akira

Well, the Akira Special Edition Tin solved the problem with the wear and tear on the cheap cardboard boxsets, but the revised hubs used on the disc trays still don't solve the problem of getting the discs out without some hassles. Back to the drawing board.

Anyway, my tin will be prominently displayed on my shelves, while I use the keepcase cover insert below to hold the discs in a two disc keepcase (like those found at c4component.com, double Amarays, or even double Alphas (you might need to add some black space on each side of the spine to make it fit a double Alpha)).

Outlaw Star Collection 1 and 2

Because of shortage of double Alpha keepcases, the cover for Outlaw Star collection 1 was changed at the last minute to fit a thinner double Amaray case. Unfortunately, this caused the spine logos and art to be different than the next two collections that were designed to fit the thinner keepcases from the start. Even more unfortunately, the Outlaw Star logos on collection 2 and 3 were still misaligned on the spines (it looks like they didn't want to cover a character's face on Collection 3 and didn't plan ahead).

To solve this, I scanned the covers for collections 1 and 2. Using a scan of the insert for collection 1, I masked over the collection 1 spine and did some other retouching to remove the old logos and part numbers. Then I copied and pasted the logo from collection 2's spine, repaired the other logos, and put the part numbers back in in the proper locations. For collection 2's spine, I masked out the old logo and pasted the logo down so that all three collection's logos line up (this was much easier than collection 1, of course).

Or, if you just want the new spines without the front and back covers (you'll have to tape the spine over the old one somehow), you can download the spines below:

Battle Athletes Victory Volume 7

For some reason, the spine of Battle Athletes Victory Volume 7 was PURPLE as opposed to the BLACK that all the other volume's spines were.

To solve this, I scanned the original cover and filled in the purple spine with black. I also changed the back from purple to the gray found on the other volumes.

Nazca Volume 1

Probably since the first disc was somewhat rushed, the first cover for Nazca had simple white and black fills for the Nazca logo and disc name, while the rest of the volumes had a pattern filling the logo and disc name. To solve this, I scanned the volume 1 and volume 2 covers. The logo was simple to copy and paste to the volume 1 cover with some tweaks. The disk name was harder to simulate exactly, but I managed to get a fill that looked similar to the other volumes.
