EDITED TAPE WARNING! Pioneer is releasing new tapes that appear to contain the Tenchi Muyo OVA episodes, but in edited form as they were shown on Cartoon Network. Do yourself and other anime fans (high sales of an edited version of a show could lead to other shows being released in only an edited format) a favor and don't buy these edited tapes. I don't know if Pioneer plans on doing edited DVDs of these episodes, but I hope they don't waste their DVD production capacity on it. The first three volumes are called: "Trouble Hatches", "Kagago Attacks", and "Growing Up" and they all retail for $14.95. The unedited version is available on the Tenchi Muyo Ryoki Collection VHS tapes and the Tench Muyo Ultimate Edition DVD set. Also, don't forget that the Card Captor Sakura releases
on video are available in edited dub "Cardcaptors" and
unedited sub "Card Captor Sakura" versions. I think you
all know I recommend the unedited version. Updated Gatchaman Editing Report: Thanks to information sent to me from Angela Porter, I have updated the editing report for Gatchaman. She provided a list of changed names, clarified that Eagle Riders was based on two follow-up Gatchaman series (II and F), and indicated that the dual-gendered status of Katse was just ignored in the G-Force dub (without any explanation why he sometimes was female and sometimes was male). Read the editing report HERE or find it in the 'Full List' link. The three series are also apparently being released uncut on DVD in Japan right now, starting with the first TV series.

HAPPY
HOLIDAYS!!
NEW EDITING REPORT! I have added an editing report for Cutey Honey. It covers the omission of one of two openings from the English dubbed VHS and the bilingual DVD, as well as some sub and dub script changes that added more profanity than the original had. Read the editing report HERE or find it in the 'Full List' link. NEW EDITING REPORTS! Thanks to information from Kris Jones, I have added an editing report for both Dangaioh and Violence Jack. It appears that Manga edited both of these titles for their release, although unedited versions were/are available from other North American companies. Read the editing report for Dangaioh HERE, Violence Jack HERE, or find them in the 'Full List' link. EVEN MORE NEW EDITING REPORTS! Thanks to information from Daniel Zelter, I have added an editing report for both Street Fighter II V and Fist of the North Star. It appears that Manga edited the opening and endings and replaced the background music for both of these TV series. Read the editing report for Street Fighter II V HERE, Fist of the North Star HERE, or find them in the 'Full List' link. Edited for Television
Dub-only Information: I've added Harlock, Queen of
a thousand Years, Tekkaman (orignal version), and Dragon
Quest to the list of dub only TV edits. Click the 'Edited
TV Dub' link to view all the anime titles that are only available
as a edited TV dub. If you happen to know of other anime titles that should
be listed as edited TV dub-only, please let me know at web
