Mezzo Forte Information: I've just received information from John Sirabella (President of Media Blasters) about Mezzo Forte. Since this Green Bunny title has scenes of a sexual nature, they will be releasing both an uncut version on their Kitty label and an edited version on their AnimeWorks label. As always, I suggest you get the unedited version. Both will apparently be released on separate DVDs.

Less-cut Kite Information: My tapes of the less-cut Kite are on their way to me and I hope to have a report of the results here by the end of the week. FYI, Media Blasters is calling the Kitty release the "Kite Director's Cut". Personally, since the "Director's Cut" released in Japan is similar to Media Blasters' edited version, I feel this is the wrong name to use.

Countdown Conjoined Information: From Michael Lindberg comes news that ADV's forthcoming release of Countdown Conjoined contains both the 'Countdown' and 'Countdown Continued' OVAs, *BUT* only in general release versions that have been edited. Although the two OVAs are available separately unedited (and why I haven't decided to do an editing report on this title), its a little annoying that the combo tape is edited and also apparently made no reference to the editing/general release status according to Michael. Buy at your own risk.

Yu-Yu Hakusho Information: From Anime on DVD news about the VSDA/CES conventions, Funimation has secured the rights to Yu-Yu Hakusho (aka Poltergeist Report). No word on how or when they will release it, but it wouldn't be the worse idea if you send a *POLITE* letter to Funimation at feedback@funimation.com. Remember to be polite and as for an uncut and accurate dub/sub release for home video. Even if you don't care about the dub, asking for an uncut dub will help make it easier for an uncut sub to be released.

Gatchaman/Battle of the Planets Information: Also from Anime on DVD news about the VSDA/CES conventions, Rhino has acquired the rights to the classic Gatchaman series, with "redrum" mentioning that "...they'll release it as Battle of the Planets but I've been told that the extras on the DVD will include Japanese Gatchaman episodes subbed in English. They cannot release stand-alone Gatchaman releases due to contractual reasons with Tatsunoko."

I'll be keeping an close eye on this and updating the Editing report for this title as needed.
