Uncut Kite news! Reports have appeared in the Anime on DVD forums that indicate that the R2 German DVD release of Kite is completely uncut and without the mosaic censor. It doesn't appear to have English subtitles or a dub. Other details aren't known at this moment.

No word on any European online retailers who might carry it for sale to the United States. For those worried about import problems, I wouldn't worry. The Japanese uncut version has never presented a problem.

Updated: Looks like Viz has continued to play around with the openings and endings on Ranma. The first DVD and VHS tape of Viz's artificial sixth season 'Random Rhapsody' contains the 7th opening and 8th ending, which shouldn't have been used until the 6th episode of 'Random Rhapsody'. This probably ends any chance that they'll fix the order of episodes or OPs and EDs on the DVD season boxsets when they release them. Their complete disrespect for the original anime creator's decision on what order to release the episodes and with what opening and emding is clearly evident.
