Oopsie... I mistakenly indicated that the North American release of Street Fighter 2 had a version without the Chun Li shower scene and one with it. Thanks to information from James Kahle, it appears that the version with the shower scene is still not the version seen by Japanese audiences. The shower scene was longer and contained much more fanservice in the original. Having never seen any version of Street Fighter 2 I can't vouch for this firsthand, but it appears to be accurate.

Yes, I'm still here. Various things in my personal life have prevented me from doing updates for the No Editing Zone for a few weeks, but I'll try to keep information flowing on a fairly constant basis. Of course, someday I hope to not need to update the No Editing Zone anymore. But until anime is no longer edited for release in the North American market, I'll be here.

NEW EDITING REPORT! I have added an editing report for The Slayers. In addition to dub dialog changes to remove spells that might be considered satanic/evil, CPM removed a 50 seconds scene from the end of episode 26 for the VHS dub and DVD release, the VHS sub has the scene in question. NEW PETITION! In an attempt to get CPM to restore the scene they cut from The Slayers onto a remastered DVD set they hopefully will be doing to correct a audio problem and/or put the missing scene on the Slayers Try DVD set, Ivan Oro has setup a petition.
