Description of what effects the edits/changes had on the original story/plot (opinion)

Story and characterization seem unaffected by the video edits, but summary nature detracts from viewing experience. The dub script changes do affect the story in fairly significant ways.

 Detailed description of video edits

Cut version: The part OVA series cut into a 'movie'. Episode 1 was trimmed to a ten (10) minute prologue. Was only released in a English dubbed version (no English subbed version was released of the cut version).

Uncut version: No known changes. Was released in a English subbed versions.

Detailed description of opening and ending changes

Cut version: Ending cut from episode two (2) and opening from episode three (3).

Uncut version: No known changes.

Detailed description of English dub changes

Various rewrites were apparent in the dub script. For example, one character's motivations were changed with a rewrite in her father's dialogue. From "I sent you to be brainwashed into a cyborg psi-warrior to better serve our master" to "be free and join the rebellion."
