The changes do change the impacts of the scenes that were censored. Regardless of who made the edits, they are still edits made for non-Japanese release and Geneon should be ashamed to release this title in this condition. It's a shame they are unable or unwilling to rectify this flawed release. Coinciding Enoki is well known for screwing up their sub-licensed titles (they act as a go between for many Japanese anime titles), Geneon should have done even basic checks to make sure they were getting what their customers would expect.

Various scenes involving violence or nudity have been altered to obscure the nudity or violence. Although only one sample is shown below, there are numerous scenes that were censored on the first DVD and all future DVDs will also be censored.

• Currently the only way to get the complete and uncut Demon Lord Dante is by obtaining an import version from Japan (should be available on assorted home video formats from various sources).

• Please write or otherwise contact Geneon and voice your opinion about them releasing an edited version of Demon Lord Dante. Remember to be polite as possible and ask for them to release not release any uncut anime, regardless of who made the edits. Threatening or sending them flames will only get your message discarded.
