The dub is almost a completely different story from the story presented in the English subtitles. Although names, places, things, and major events appear to be unchanged, dialog throughout the 12 episodes is changed drastically for no apparent reason.

For example:

Episode 9 - A discussion about killing/not killing

Sub:
Koji: "I don't know. But we'll only use physical violence as a last resort. If it's possible to rewrite history, I don't want to spill blood needlessly."

Dub:
Koji: "What I do know is this: I will kill him if he gets in the way of our mission. And if I have to, I'll kill Professor Ryuko Saito if she tries to stop us."

(so, apparently, the sub Koji is VERY reluctant to kill, but the dub Koji is okay with killing if it solves their problem)

Episode 10 - A discussion between Masami and Natsumi in a restaurant about where Gawl is.

Sub:
Masami: "My bra size, I wear a B cup, but the truth is, it’s way to big."
Natsumi: "No way!’
Masami: "See? It’s not something I can tell people."

Dub:
Masami: "Gawl’s the only one I could date, if you know what I mean."
Natsumi: "That’s terrible"
Masami: "I think that’s their big secret."

(basically in the dub, she’s inferring that the other two guys are gay, in the sub she's talking about padding her bra size)

I have not received any reports that the subtitle script is the inaccurate one, so I have to assume that the dub was rewritten for some unknown reasons.

• Please write or otherwise contact ADV and voice your opinion about the changes they made to the dub script in Generator Gawl. Remember to be polite as possible and ask for them to not make similar changes in future English dubs. Threatening or sending them flames will only get your message discarded. And, of course, not buying Generator Gawl will also help send a message to ADV.
